HOMEMADE BROWNIES



Try this delicious and easy-to-follow brownie recipe. So rich, creamy, and decadent. Just the way homemade brownies should be.

PREP TIME: 20 mins
COOK TIME: 20-25 mins
YIELD: 12 servings

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup - unsalted butter
(melted)
1/2 cup - cocoa
2 cups - all-purpose flour
2 cups - sugar
4 eggs
4 teaspoons - vanilla extract
1 cup - chopped nuts
(optional)

FROSTING:

1/4 cup - butter
(softened)
1/4 cup - milk
1/4 cup - cocoa
3 cups - powdered sugar
dash of salt
(optional)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Using a mixer, blend melted butter and cocoa until
   smooth.

3. Add flour and sugar; beat together.

4. Mix in eggs and vanilla
(and nuts if you are using them)
   and mix until combined
(be sure not to over mix).

5. Pour batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.

6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted
   into the middle comes out clean.

7. Let the brownies cool for about 10-20 minutes and
   then frost while still warm.

8. Mix all frosting ingredients together.

9. Frost brownies as desired.
